Bei Ru

Bei Ru is an LA-based multi-genre producer, vocalist and instrumentalist, whose sound is marked by a melding of airy, syrupy electronic, soul, psych, lo-fi, house & funk influences.

Custom Made Life, his first album with vocals by himself and guests like Roc Marciano, Peyton, Sebu of Capital Cities, Blu and others, was released in late 2020. He has since followed it up with the mostly instrumental beat tape series G O O D H U M M U S, exploring several genres such as soul, lo-fi, house and more. Bei Ru’s upcoming vocal EP is slated for an early August 2021 release.

A dynamic composer, Bei Ru has also scored music for How I Met Your Mother, Nike’s Sport Changes Everything campaign, the critically praised VICE Films release A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, I Smile Back (starring Sarah Silverman), and numerous others. In addition to his catalog, Bei Ru has toured throughout Europe and the Middle-East.
